Let me first introduce myself, I am Jungwook Wi from Kia’s Overseas Communication Team, involved in international Public Relations. Today, I would like to share with you my trip to Spain, Barcelona, where journalists from Central & South America tested our all-new Picanto
We began the official test drive event with the press conference where journalists were presented with Kia’s corporate overview and all-new Picanto product information. Also we held a 30-munite Q&A session with our marketing and product managers, where the journalists questioned about the advanced features of the newest model, such as Hill-start Assist Control(HAC), safety features, etc.
Then we held a full day of the all-new Picanto test drive, which was divided into 2 parts (morning & afternoon session). The journalists were busy not only test driving the different versions of the model, but also taking photos, filming interviews, etc.
Most of the journalists were impressed by the overall performance of the model, along with its outstanding design. Actually a few journalists mentioned about the attractiveness of the model to dramatically growing female consumers in Central & South American region, with spacious interior space and much improved design.
As happy as I was with the journalist’s positive impression of the model, I also enjoyed time with very friendly journalists and operation staff, along with beautiful scenery of the venue. It was obvious to see that everyone including myself had a great time in Spain, and we promised to meet again in the short future for another special event.
